Tour overview
Our 5-day safari to North Western Uganda takes us to the land of BIG 5 that is sighting Rhinos in Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Lions, Elephants, Buffalos and Leopards in Murchison Falls National Park. We shall also enjoy a Nile cruise to Bottom of the world’s most icon and powerful water falls.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
You will be welcomed experienced driver-guide, who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Depending on the time of arrival, our guide will take you on a city tour for an exciting introduction to Uganda’s Capital City; Kampala. Visit some interesting and historical sites like Gaddafi Mosque, Uganda Museum and African Craft Village to buy souvenirs. We also advise you to have local currency for this tour. Dinner and overnight in Kampala.
DAY 2: KAMPALA – ZZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY – MURCHISION FALLS NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we shall board our safari vehicle to the North western part of Uganda, we shall pass through the famous Luwero triangle to Nakasongola District, then drive to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the tracking of the Rhinos. After the trek, we shall have late lunch (You note that this sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can see Rhinos in wild since they were poached to an extinction), After lunch we shall continue to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving late evening. Dinner and overnight stay in the park.
DAY 3: AM GAME DRIVE AND PM BOAT CRUISE IN MURCHSION NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, we go with our packed breakfast for a game drive. We shall pass in Tangi Gate to the northern bank to see animals; it’s the highlight of our safari and we hope to see animals like Buffalos, Lions, leopard, Giraffes, Elephants and many more. We shall have a picnic breakfast and then drive to Paraa Safari Lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, we shall go on a Nile cruise to the bottom of the falls. While on this cruise, we shall be able to animals we missed to see on a game drive since they come to River banks to drink water. At the bottom of the falls, we shall leave the boat and hike to the Top of the falls to see the Mighty River being squeezed in a Seven Meter Gorge which forms a rainbow and causes rain to drop at this place all the time. After that; we shall find our driver and return to our Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Murchison Falls National Park.
DAY 4: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After a warm Breakfast, we shall drive towards the south western part of Uganda to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is the most visited in Uganda among others. It will take approximately 9-10 hours on road having a stopover at Lake Albert to view the Albertine Rift Valley, then proceed to the entrance of Queen Elizabeth National Park. As we drive towards our lodge, if lucky we shall be able to see some of the animals like Lions, Kobs and many more. We check in at the lodge, dinner and overnight stay in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
DAY 5: AM GAME DRIVE AND PM BOAT CRUISE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.
At the park, early morning, wake up take a cup of tea and head for the thrilling game drive at 6:00am. Game to view include Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalos, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. You will have a chance to view Hippos at close range. You will also have a chance watching other bird species and there after transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight In Queen Elizabeth National Park.
DAY 6: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - BWINDI IMPENETRABLE
We shall have an early rise and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We shall pass the southern sector of the park, called Ishasha and known for the tree-climbing lions. Here we should expect to see some of the lions resting on the branches of trees of the famous sausage trees. We shall exit this beautiful park arriving in Bwindi at our lodge just in time for dinner. Overnight in Bwindi.
DAY 7: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
In the morning after breakfast, we shall assemble for briefing according to the gorilla group we are going to trek/track. We shall be walked through the dos and don’ts of tracking these adorable giants. This activity is one of highlights of our safari, meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi, is an exciting experience as you trek through the beautiful ecosystem of the park. It is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike; it may take two to eight hours. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter the gorillas. But once you find these creatures, it is very rewarding and interesting as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. After the trek we return to lodge for lunch and evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi.
DAY 8: BWINDI – KAMPALA
In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, you will travel back to Kampala. On the way back to the city you will have a lunch stopover in Mbarara, dubbed Uganda’s land of honey and milk. After a quick lunch you will embarking on your journey to Kampala with another stopover at the Equator to take photos and buy African crafts as souvenirs, arriving late evening to enjoy Kampala on Night Tour. Overnight in Kampala.
DAY 9: KAMPALA - JINJA ADVENTURE CITY
After breakfast we drive to the Eastern part of the country passing through Mabira Tropical Rain Forest finally arriving in Jinja Adventure City. We shall go participate on a boat cruise on the Nile to see the real Point of the Source of the Nile, after that we can choose to do either tubing the Nile, Bungee Jumping, Water Slides and white-water Rafting on the Nile. Once we are with the desired activities, we shall transfer back to Kampala for Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 10: KAMPALA - AIRPORT
Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories, you will say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa. Depending on the time of departure you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
