Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Kibale Forest National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park have a diverse ecosystem which include a sprawling savanna, sparkling lakes, humid forests, fertile wetlands which make them a suitable home for over 600 species of birds, outstanding wildlife attractions like tree climbing lions, chimpanzees among others. The parks are set against the beautiful sceneries of the Rwenzori Mountains and the panoramic views of Kazinga Channel. Murchison Falls National Park is another park to visit while on this safari – it’s the largest National Park of the Country and a home ti the most powerful water falls in the world.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

You will be welcomed by a representative of friends nature safaris on arrival at Entebbe International Airport. From the Airport, we shall drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Gorillas, arriving in Bwindi very late in the evening. Dinner and overnight on Bwindi grounds.

DAY 2: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

In the morning we take our breakfast and assemble for briefing according to the gorilla group we are going to track and listen to the doss and don’ts of the activity. Tracking gorillas during this trip is one of the highlights of our safari, and meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi in its beautiful ecosystem is just one of the memorable experiences during this activity. It is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike before you meet the gorillas; it may take two to eight hours. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter them. Once you meet these relatives of ours, it is rewarding and interesting as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! For conservation purposes, time spent with the Gorillas is limited to one hour. After the trek we drive back to the lodge for lunch and evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.

DAY 3: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you can choose to have a guided village walk for a closer meeting with the local community. Learn about their way of living as you walk through coffee, tea and banana plantations. Afterwards we depart to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We shall pass the southern sector of the park, called Ishasha and known for the tree-climbing lions and here we expect to see some of the lions resting on the branches of trees. While we continue to our accommodation in the middle of the national park be alert to spot some wildlife like kobs, waterbucks and warthogs while grazing. Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizbeth National Park.

DAY 4: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

At the park, early morning, wake up take a cup of tea and head for the thrilling game drive at 6:00am. Game to view include Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalos, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. You will have a chance to view Hippos at close range, have a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel, watch other bird species and there after transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

DAY 5: TRANSFER O KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK.

Depart for Kibale Forest National Park in the western part of Uganda and known for 13 species of primates. The drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale Forest National Park will take approximately 3-4hrs through the tourism city Fort- Portal, and has scenic views to enjoy. You will have lunch in Fort Portal City before proceeding to Kibale Forest National Park, Taking the evening to rest. Dinner overnight stay in Kibale National Park.

DAY 6: CHIMPANZEELAND TRACKING IN KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast we get briefed from our centers about Chimpanzee Tracking then we enter the Forest in Search of the Chimps, Kibale Forest is known for harboring the 13 different species of Primates in Africa, once we locate them, we shall take pictures with them. Then after that we travel back to our lodge. Lunch. Personal time. Dinner and overnight stay in Kibale National Park.

DAY 7: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK - KAMPALA

After breakfast, we drive from Kibale Forest National to Kampala city, with Lunch on the way then we arrive at our hotel. Check-in and overnight in Kampala.

DAY 8: KAMPALA – ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

After breakfast depending on the time of your flight; if it’s in the evening or at night, we can do an excursion during the day before going to the Airport.
