DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

You will be welcomed by a representative of Friends Nature Safaris Ion arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Kampala for an overnight stay.

DAY 2: ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - KAMPALA

Since you had a log flight the previous days, you will have a lazy wake up, have breakfast and we drive to Lake Mburo National Park which is a 4-hour drive on Kampala-Masaka main road, with a stopover at the Equator for photo moments, then continue with our journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival we shall check in at our lodge, have a quick lunch drive to the docking site by the banks of the lake to catch an afternoon boat cruise. You will return early evening and spend your evening at leisure, which will usher you to dinner. Dinner and overnight stay in Lake Mburo National Park

DAY 3: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Early morning, we shall do a safari walk around the park to see animals like Giraffes, Kobs, Zebras and many more, breakfast then leave for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We shall drive via a scenic route, as we view savanna vegetation, the popular horn Ankole cattle and the green growth of the countryside. We shall have lunch along the way arriving in Bwindi late evening, check in, dinner and overnight in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

DAY 4: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

In the morning we take our breakfast and assemble for briefing according to the gorilla group we are going to track and listen to the doss and don’ts of the activity. Tracking gorillas during this trip is one of the highlights of our safari, and meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi in its beautiful ecosystem is just one of the memorable experiences during this activity. It is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike before you meet the gorillas; it may take two to eight hours. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter them. Once you meet these relatives of ours, it is rewarding and interesting as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! For conservation purposes, time spent with the Gorillas is limited to one hour. After the trek we drive back to the lodge for lunch and evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.

DAY 5: DRIVE TO FORT- PORTAL CITY

In the morning, travel from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Uganda’s tourism city dubbed Fort- Portal, while on this drive you will experience scenic views of crater lakes as you arrive in Fort Portal. You will have a short stopover in the city and then continue to Kibale Forest National Park the ground of Chimpanzee Tracking. Dinner and retire to bed at leisure.

DAY 6: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast we enter the forest to do Chimp Tracking looking out for the chimps and other 13 different species of primates, once we meet the chimpanzee, we shall interact and have photo moments and then thereafter transfer to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Kibale National Park.

DAY 7: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK TO KAMPALA

After a delicious morning breakfast, we shall leave Chimp land and drive back to Kampala city arriving early evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Kampala.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE

Depending on time of your flight, we you will say bye to the Pearl of Africa name by Churchill and a country gifted by Nature known to man, carrying only beautiful memories of Uganda.
