Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park are the most visited National Parks in Uganda by tourists.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is entirely covered by dense forest with thick different species of natural vegetation and different melodies of different birds and Bamboo trees which is sweet to the Mountain Gorillas.
Queen Elizabeth National Park has a diverse ecosystem which include a sprawling savanna, sparkling lakes, humid forests, fertile wetlands which makes it a suitable home for over 600 species of birds, outstanding wildlife attractions like tree climbing lions, chimpanzees among others. The Park is set against the beautiful sceneries of the Rwenzori Mountains, the panoramic view of kazinga channel. The park was founded in 1952 and was named the Kazinga National Park and after two years, it was renamed to Queen Elizabeth National Park after the visit of Queen Elizabeth II. It’s located in Kasese, approaching the park from the south via Mbarara covers the distance of 420km while the north through Fort Portal covers the distance of 410km.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
You will be welcomed by our driver-guide on arrival at Entebbe International Airport. We shall then drive to Lake Mburo National Park which is a 4-hour drive from Kampala-Masaka main road. On our way, we shall have a stopover at the Equator for lunch and photo shoots then continue with our journey to Lake Mburo National Game Park. Upon arrival we shall check into our respective rooms. Have a quick lunch, then head out to do a boat cruise on Lake Mburo; once done we shall return to the lodge at spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Lake Mburo National Park.
DAY 2: LAKE MBURO – LAKE BUNYONYI
Today we shall wake up very early and go on a safari walk to view the Lake Mburo National Park’s game life. We shall see many of the mammals and small cats returning nback to their den. Return to the lodge, have breakfast and then set off for Lake Bunyonyi with packed lunch. We shall arrive in Lake Bunyonyi late in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay on Lake Bunyonyi grounds.
DAY 3: BATWA EXPERIENCE AND BOAT CRUISE ON LAKE BUNYONYI - BWINDI
We shall wake up every early, have breakfast and then go for the Batwa experience, while on this experience we shall be able to also tour then different islands of lake Bunyonyi. Return tit e lodge, and have an early lunch, checkout and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. We shall reach Bwindi late in the evening, Dinner and overnight stay in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
DAY 4: GORILLA TTRACKING IN BWINDI IMPENTRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast we arrange in our groups at the briefing point, accompanied with a ranger guide we start tracking the Gorillas as we are bound to cover long distance/s in rainy, muddy and sloppily areas without seeing any Gorillas. You are advised to carry with you drinks and a light snack served by our guide as you will might take a while without seeing the Gorillas depending on where they nested the previous night. Once you see them, you will spend time with them 1hour; time spent is restricted for conservation purposes. You will have photos moments (Keep the flash light of your cameras off) with them as you watch them playing and feeding their young ones. After our trek and humbled by this incredible experience, we shall return to the road where our driver-guide will be waiting for us. Transfer back to the lodge for a late lunch. Rest of the day is at leisure.
DAY 5: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast we shall have an option, a guided village walk for a closer meeting with the local community. Learn about their way of living as you walk through coffee, tea and banana plantations. Afterwards we depart to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We shall drive through the southern sector of the park, called Ishasha known for the tree-climbing lions and here we should expect to see some of the lions resting on the tree branches. Once inside the park and as drive to our lodge, we might spot some wildlife like kobs, waterbucks and warthogs grazing. Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
DAY 6: AM GAME DRIVE AND PM LAUNCH BOAT CRUISE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After our early morning breakfast, we start our game drive around Mweya Peninsular if we slept around that area then after we head for the mating ground of the Uganda kobs. We shall look for Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. While on this cruise, we shall see animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, hundreds of Hippos. This channel is also known as a birders haven, snacks and soft drinks will be served while on the cruise, this cruise will definitely be another highlight of our safari. Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth in National Park.
DAY 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - KAMPALA
After our warm breakfast, we shall pack our belongings and embark on our ride back to Kampala, we shall do a game drive as we exit the park, Lunch on the way and a stopover at Mpambire Drum Makers to buy souvenir to take home. Arrival in Kampala will be late evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Kampala.
