This trip will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park which are Uganda’s most visited National Parks by tourist among other destinations. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is known for Mountain Gorillas, The Kazinga Channel of Queen Elizabeth National Park is a wide, 32-kilometre (20 mi) long natural channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George, and a dominant feature of the park where Boat cruises are done. Murchison Falls National Park has the world’s most powerful falls called Murchison falls; it’s created by River Nile, the world’s longest river. Its name was derived from a Greek word ‘Nile’ for ‘valley’. The river begins from the North-eastern section of Africa and flows to the nearby areas adjacent to the equator continuing to the Safari desert until it finally pours into the Mediterranean Sea, In Uganda we do cruises on the Nile in Murchison Falls National Park and Jinja.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
You will be welcomed by a representative of Friends Nature Safaris on arrival at Entebbe International Airport, and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, which is a 4-hour drive from Kampala using Kampala-Masaka main road with a stopover at the Equator for lunch and photo shoots then continue to Lake Mburo National Park, arriving late afternoon. Upon arrival you will check into your room. After short rest, you will go participate in a PM boat cruise on Lake Mburo. After the boat cruise of about 2hrs, you will return to the lodge ground and enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Lake Mburo National Park.
DAY 2: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, we shall do a safari walk around the park to see animals like Giraffes, Kobs, Zebras and many more, breakfast then leave for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We shall drive via a scenic route, as you watch the beautiful savanna vegetation, the treasured Ankole cattle and the green countryside. We shall have lunch enroute arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest late in the evening. Check in, refresh, dinner and overnight stay in Bwindi.
DAY 3: GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Wake up for an early breakfast and assemble for briefing by the UWA tour guide. During this briefing, you will be told which gorilla family to track. You will also be informed of the dos and don’ts. This activity is one of the highlights of our safari, meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi. Hikers will love the gorilla trekking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. It is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike; it may take two to eight hours. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. Meeting these creatures is very rewarding and interesting as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. After the trek we return to the lodge for lunch and evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.
DAY 4: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you can choose to have a guided village walk for a closer meeting with the local community. Learn about their way of living as you walk through coffee, tea and banana plantations. Afterwards, we set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will pass the southern sector of the park, called Ishasha and known for the rare tree-climbing lions and here expect to see some of the lions resting on the branches of trees. Arriving in the lodge grounds will be early in the evening. While we drive to our accommodation place in the middle of the national park, be alert to spot some wildlife like kobs, waterbucks and warthogs grazing. Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
DAY 5: AM GAME DRIVE AND PM BOAT CRUISE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.
At the park; early morning, wake up, take a cup of tea and head for the thrilling game drive at 6:00am. Game to view include Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalos, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. Return for an earl lunch and after lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour Boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. You will have a chance of seeing Hippos at close range with an opportunity to watch other bird species and there after drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
DAY 6: DRIVE TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK.
Depart for Murchison Falls National Park, located on the north western part of Uganda and is the largest park with an area of 3840sqKM. It will take approximately 9-10 hours on road having a stopover at Lake Albert to view the Albertine Rift Valley, tthen continue to Bugungu Gate. As we enter and proceed towards the lodge, we shall have the chance of seeing wildlife like Buffalos, Lions, Giraffes, Kobs and many more. We check in, dinner and overnight stay in Murchison Falls National Park.
DAY 7: GAME DRIVE AND NILE CRUISE IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK.
Early morning wakeup, with packed breakfast we shall go for the interesting morning game drive with a chance of seeing many animals such as Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Lions, Uganda Kobs and many others. If we lucky, we shall get the opportunity of spotting world‘s rarest shoebill stork at the down side of the stream during this game drive. After the game drive, we shall have a break off for lunch. Once done with lunch, we shall go for the amazing Nile cruise to the bottom of the mighty falls with a chance of spotting animals like Hippos, Crocodiles, and other animals alongside the river drinking water. The boat will make stop at the actual point where you can clearly see the mighty Nile squeeze into the 7-meter gorge for photo shorts. After the cruise, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Murchison Falls National Park.
DAY 8: SEEING RHINOS IN ZZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY- KAMPALA
After morning breakfast, as we exit the park, we shall visit top of the falls to see the mighty Nile being squeezed into a small gorge which creates the thunder storm and rain in this place.
As we drive back to Kampala, we shall have stopover at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos. After tracking the Rhinos for about 1hr, we shall have a lunch break of 30 minutes and then drive to Kampala, arriving late in the evening.
DAY 9: KAMPALA – JINJA FOR NILE CRUISE
In the morning we shall drive towards the Eastern part of Uganda to Jinja the Adventure city of East Africa for our day activities. Our itinerary for the day includes White Water Rafting, Boat Cruise to see the point of the source of the Nile and Tubing on the Nile. After that we drive back to Kampala, arriving late. Overnight stay in Kampala.
DAY 10: KAMPALA - ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Depending on the time of your flight we shall organize ourselves and say bye to the PEARL OF AFRICA to catch your flight back home.
